Cette New-Yorkaise s’est lancée un défi : maîtriser un français courant en quelques mois. Elle a déjà visité la France continentale mais elle souhaitait cette fois-ci&nbsp; apprendre le français sous un climat plus agréable, loin du vent et de la grisaille hivernale. Quoi de mieux qu’une immersion sur une île des Antilles françaises ? Le choix de Valérie s’est porté sur la Martinique qui répondait parfaitement à ses attentes.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pendant son séjour, elle s’est inscrite à une </span><b>visite guidée culinaire à Fort-de-France</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> sur le thème de Noël et des fêtes de fin d’année. Accompagnée de Sarah, notre guide bilingue, Valérie a non seulement découvert les saveurs locales mais aussi pratiqué son français avec les autres participants et les commerçants. Une expérience conviviale qui facilite l’apprentissage tout en tissant des liens enrichissants.</span></p>								</div>

Les plats traditionnels qu’elle a dégustés (pâtés, pois d’Angole, ragoût de porc, etc) vont très certainement enrichir le menu du banquet de Noël qu’elle compte bien préparer pour sa famille à son retour à New York.</span></p>								</div>

Cette Australienne, grande fan de la série </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Meurtres au Paradis</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">, a décidé de visiter le lieu de tournage de son programme favori en Guadeloupe. Mais ce voyage se mérite : près de 20 000 kilomètres séparent Sidney des Antilles ! En deux semaines et demi, Frances a fait escale au Canada, puis à Miami, avant d’atterrir en Martinique où elle embarquera sur le Ponant. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;color: #333333">Mais avant de prendre le large, elle s’est inscrite à une visite guidée de Fort-de-France Tété Dwèt !  Épicurienne et curieuse de nature, elle voulait découvrir la culture martiniquaise avec des Martiniquais. </span></p>								</div>

									<p><span style="font-weight: 400;color: #333333">Frances a choisi de visiter l’île en se plongeant au cœur de la capitale. Elle souhaitait pouvoir capter l’essence même de la culture martiniquaise.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;color: #333333">Au menu de notre visite guidée culinaire : saveurs locales, délices faits-maison et histoire.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333333"><b>Les quelques heures de balade lui ont tout d’abord permis de parler trois langues</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> : l’anglais bien sûr, le français car elle souhaitait s’améliorer et le créole avec quelques expressions distillées ici et là par Sarah. Une balade multilingue qui reflète le métissage culturel de notre île et donc de nos dégustations !</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333333"><b>A chaque arrêt gourmand, soigneusement sélectionné par notre équipe, elle a pu échanger avec des commerçants foyalais.</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> Jus de canne, pâtisserie, plat salé : Frances s’est montrée très ouverte d’esprit en se prêtant au jeu des dégustations. C’est avec un grand sourire qu’elle a goûté au petit clin d&rsquo;œil du jour offert par une épicerie fine : l’excellent miel martiniquais Saint-Sacrement et celui d’eucalyptus (plante originaire d’Australie) !</span></span></p>								</div>

									<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Frances a été ravie de cette matinée sur le centre-ville. Son seul regret a été d’avoir manqué de temps pour explorer l’île en profondeur. Mais ce n’est que partie remise puisque l’Australienne a déjà commencé à songer à son prochain voyage aux Antilles ! </span></p>

Another good choice is the <strong>‘kako’ stick</strong>, a compact stick of pure cocoa, which you can grate or melt into your dishes. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;">Leave some space for all the<strong> local liqueurs and punches</strong>.
